Kristina was a 2009 senior model for Fischink Photography, she has since gone on to receive a degree in graphic design from Clark State. In her spare time if she isn’t drawing or designing, she loves to sit down with a cup of tea and enjoy a nice read. Extremely outgoing and outdoorsy, Kristina loves to camp and snowboard in the winter. Her beauty and personality shine through our office. She is possibly the happiest and most positive individual we know. Kris will be taking on the responsibilities of sales and consultations and also adding her knowledge to the design and marketing end. Shannon and I could not be more happy to have her aboard and we hope you will give her a big welcome the next time you are in the studio.

We are so excited to have Jennifer a part of our team. Jen will be your first and last point of contact with Fischink Photography. She is taking over our sales consultations and photo sales presentations. Customers have already been calling Shannon and I raving about the wonderful job Jennifer is doing. A little history on Jennifer. She was born and raised here in Springfield, Ohio. Married to Larry Orndorff for 18 years. Three children (pictures below only show 2, they were taken a few years ago). Jennifer and her husband spent 8 years in youth ministry with a year and half of that working with hearing impaired orphans in Russia. Wow! If you know anything about the Russian government, you know this was a daunting task. Jennifer and Larry were also key volunteers for our Eyes Wide Open project a few years back. Jen holds a managing cosmetologist license and is trained in make-up for photography. We hope to be utilizing her talents in the near future with make-up. She loves to cook, laugh and enjoy life. We are so thankful to have her bless our business with her amazing talents. Please help us welcome her by leaving her a message here

I got an email from a friend last week, surprised I didn’t write about Steve McNair. OK, I give. Got a call from my Dad (who lives in Nashville) last Saturday as we drove to Spaghetti Warehouse. I was stunned at his untimely death at 36. I like the Alcorn State alum and Titans a lot (why are they in same division with Colts?), and my son, Jaden, has an old McNair jersey. What happened? Hearing he was killed with another woman, not his wife, got me thinking. Hopefully I’m wrong, I thought. As the story has unfolded it only gets worse — seemingly. Great player on the field, a warrior. His real battles off the field, took his life. We never expect our consequences to be as great as they are. They are most always beyond what we think or hope. A line I’ve kept in my mental vault over the years, goes …

Sin takes us places we don’t want to go.

Sin keeps us longer than we want to stay.

Sin costs us more than we’re willing to pay.

It’s very sad to many that McNair’s 4 sons will live life without their father. Not how life was intended. I have heard the greatest question we can ask ourselves is “What is the wise thing to do?” We often make decisions that lead to our demise, instead. Number 9 had no foresight to see his pending death, but when lines are crossed, we never know how far-reaching the results can be, especially negative ones. McNair lived many great stories on the turf in college and the pros, unfortunately it ends like a sad and disturbing Lifetime movie. The Titans lost a franchise face in the former signal caller. McNair’s boys lost its only quarterback.
